      Pros

      Flexible working hours, there are Holy Week & December breaks — but months of heavy workload

      Cons

      Workload is too much, each PO is handling all aspects of a project Management is bad, and leads in the bullying or gossiping of other employees. Disrespectful and condescending remarks when you ask for feedback or guidance. Office politics is emotionally and mentally taxing In one unit, almost 10 people have resigned because of the workload and bad management. Ironic for a NGO that extends understanding and empathy towards its partners, but not its own employees There are always delays in senior approval, but it’s only your mistake if there are delays or errors

      - Great minds, and mostly kind people - Working for a purpose - Ability to explore different projects - Fieldwork with grassroots communities - Considerate with employees during pandemic

      Cons

      - Management has to learn to validate and listen to its people - Critical thinking in terms of working is appreciated. But critical thinking in terms of making processes better and ensuring accountability - not welcome - Favoritism, especially for those who do not question leadership - Public shaming during irregular intervals from management

      Work from home arrangement; flexible; suitable for professionals who need minimal supervision

      benefits can be improved; not suitable for professionals who do not have the proper work ethics; the structure is really flexible to such extent that it could be abused by incompetent staff.
