Pros

I've been with ID5 just a bit under a year and have had a very positive experience. From day one I was trusted to jump right in and get started, but also knew I could ask for the help and support I needed from my manager. In my experience, ID5 is a great place to grow and develop without feeling burnout or overwhelmed. Many companies talk about work life balance but ID5 is one of the few employers that actually walks the walk. My team has always been respectful of me during my time off (no emails, slack messages, help takeover my workload etc) and my colleagues have been quick to support me when I've had a particularly heavy workload. The gym/wellness stipend is a great perk and I've also been able to use the personal development fund to pay for a professional course I've had my eye on for a couple years now. Overall I'd recommend joining the team.

Cons

It's a small company, if you are coming from a big company it will be a major adjustment for you. It is a fully remote company so sometimes it can get a bit lonely but as long as you don't mind that you'll get on fine.

Pros

- Amazing benefits for a company of this size (401k match, generous PTO, awesome health coverage, remote working, regular team offsites, diverse multi-regional workforce) - A fascinating and complex suite of products and solutions - you'll always be learning and growing while working on this business - A chance to join a small team and contribute in a meaningful way to the success of ID5, as well as the future sustainability and growth of the digital advertising industry as a whole

Cons

- A ton of work to be done to achieve our goals - with that work comes many challenges each day - not for everyone!

Pros

Lots of room for professional and personal growth due to the competency of colleagues and technical challenges. I have yet to see another place where this amount of trust and autonomy will be given to you from day one. This reflected quite much in the impact I have had on the company so far. Everyone's very open and transparent towards the status quo and the future. Given that we sometimes switch focus in between efforts, I have seen nobody working long hours which surprised me a bit (you know, startups and all...). Remote seems to be working out fine for them. On one side you get the support to do so (hardware, software, office things) on the other side they leave room for meeting coworkers outside of professional topics. I have met my coworkers on an offsite but meeting physically more often would be nicer. I've not marked the later as a negative point as there's still a pandemic ongoing and everyone expresses their wish to meet more often once that's behind us.

Cons

You will be very close to the product and every action has an impact. I like that kind of high-impact environment but it might not be for everyone. It is a young company, so don't expect mature processes everywhere. I am somewhat comfortable with this ambiguity but it takes a toll somewhere. Visibility on the 6 to 12 month roadmap is muddy.
