Pros
Impactful role with real ownership: In very small time already exposed to the product, the good and the bad, can propose changes and always being listened. Talented, pragmatic teams: You can feel the team ( at least risks) nows the business , solutions are achieved fast and results reviewed with timeliness. High learning curve (IFRS9, validations, materiality, model governance): For exposure and learning as an intro to the financial system is great, you get a quick understanding of how credit works, so for people that wants to grow in it , an amazing opportunity. Culture improvements: HR has evolved in good way, benefits are offered, promoted in a more effective way. Since my first time here two years ago I believe now everyone is more aware of how things are done and expected to be from HR side. Work-life balance You are not pursued here to work the "extra -mile" in terms of staying late but on truly delivering good results.

Processes maturing: Big improvements in documentation, nonetheless there is still a lot of manual work that avoids assurance of correct documentation of processes a lot of legacy pages are still there which makes confusing for new joiners to understand the end-to-end. Model risk require uplift: While models are used, governance around them is still quite inmatured, there is requirement to introduce validation into the team so that is ensured that models are sound for business not only valid from the data science perspective. Limited resources in some areas: I believe while we have a nice team size , when i compare it to previous companies still the scaling of risk area requires a bit more investment, specially to work on transforming the product metrics, making it more attractive to a different segment of clients than the current scope. Current resourcing is okay to do the work, a small increase in the team would permit additional investigations on product development.
