Cons
Work style is a bit old fashioned. The institute seems to be reluctant to use tools of a global workplace, which sets the tone of stifled innovation. Also, due to pulling out of Aleppo ICARDA is rebuilding. There is very little laboratory infrastructure making scientists dependent on secondary data. Many scientists find it difficult to publish in high impact journals.
