Pros

The ICA For nearly 30 years, served clients including the U.S. State Department, the Departments of Defense and Commerce, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, international banks, NGOs and many more. The ICA is the sole foreign language provider in Virginia approved for VA educational benefits for veterans and their dependents, and one of the top language centers chosen by federal employees from the GSA Schedule. Clients turn – and return – to ICA because we deliver quality services with a personal touch, and the flexibility to accommodate busy schedules and unique objectives.

Cons

I have been working at the ICA since 2005 as instructor I taught language and culture for students of various governmental agencies in varies level. I prepare my student for both the Formal and colloquial language Provided accurate description and execution of the prescribed curriculum

Pros

Warning to IC and CI communities, as well as to all government agencies, which use ICA facility to find the best candidates! Their language testers are incompetent, unqualified for the task, extremely biased. They test on what you say and not how you say it, which is implicit and explicit violation of any test practice, about which they explicitly state prior the test. Company's management and leadership is corrupt and unwilling to review and rectify their own rules, shortcomings and flaws. ICA is a foreign agent working for benefit of foreign countries, not the US.

Cons

Stay away from this corrupt enterprise, especially if you need to test your potential employees for their language skills. This enterprise hires incompetent and biased testers who evaluate you on your true language skills, but these testers degrade your score if you say something they do not like and disagree with. My tester gave me C grade for my native language skills that I was born into and exclusively spoke for almost 30 years. Why? Because she did not like what I said on a politically motivated question. When I addressed the issue with ICA HR and CEO, they found nothing wrong with this?! Conclusion - corrupt entity to stay away with, and spread the word, as they are used intensively by the government and government contractors.
