Cons
I’ve been recruited with motto: “it’s so funny to work at ICA Gruppen”. Couldn’t be more wrong and untruth. The office in SOLNA (Stockholm) looks like a big library. Everywhere is silent and totally anonymous. Meeting rooms are like prison cells. Huge terrace where you can’t have lunch or drink a glass of wine during AW. Oh right! There are no AW since ICA has zero tolerance for alcohol. Absolutely wrong place if you want to socialise or have fun at work. This place is just about having meetings, sit down at you place and be quite. Not to forget. As new employee you don’t get anything. No flowers, no locker, nothing. Food is bad and really poor benefits. ICA’s main business is selling food but consult an external company to serve food at lunch and at the cafetteria at the office.
