GBS is part of IBM where the consultancy services lie. Within GBS, the iX is a newer development and it is young, dynamic and fun. We work as design consultants so with every new project you learn a new industry and get exposed to a new company. IBM has its own design thinking methodology which shows how important design has always been for IBM.
Cons
Design is not IBM's main business so it is never as important as the other work streams which can make you feel less relevant to the company and makes it hard to find a sense of belonging.
