Pros

1.Work from home option. 2.Checks always deposited on 5th and 20th of the month. Never have to wonder if you' ll get paid. 3.Great peer support through live chat if you have an issue you are hung on. 4.Supervisors are clear on feedback of expectations during your shift whether it be with training or with your live incoming calls. (Daily.) 5. Training time is 6 weeks. Great length for training.

Cons

1.You feel chained to your desk. Ex: You have to basically ask for permission to pause your phone system if you need to use the restroom. 2. The system of breaks throughout your shift just doesn't suit the job along with the scheduling of breaks. I have suggested to work longer shifts just to get a 45min to a one hour lunch and longer breaks. Adding an extra 5 mins to a break makes a big difference. Employees need that time to clear their head and reset due to the nature of the job and hostility of the callers that we deal with because of our job roles as well as the frustrations that come with the proper functioning of the software programs we use. FAST PACED, HIGH TENSION, CHALLENGING, and depending on the call, your emotions MUST CHANGE TO MATCH YOUR CALLER. Either diffusing hostility, nurturing a mistreated client, sympathy for sadness of a son or daughter in disconnecting a service for their newly deceased parent. IT IS AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER POSITION. THICK SKIN REQUIRED. Those longer breaks would help in resetting the brain and refreshing your energy for the next round of callers.(RETENTION SPECIALIST) Actual Shift Example: Tuesday 1:30pm- 10pm (8.5hrs) [1:30-3:30 production.] [330-4pm lunch.] [4pm-6pm 10min break.] [6pm-8pm production.] [8pm-8:10pm 10min break.] [8:10pm-10pm production.] 10pm Supervisor comes on chat and gives everyone permission to log off for the night. 3. Even though the training time is sufficient, the training materials/subjects and hands on experience with the software programs you are expected to use, need a massive overhaul...you think you're prepared for the job until you hit the floor and realize most of what you are doing to resolve the clients needs; you weren't taught how to use the software programs that you need to be successful.
