From day one, there was a noticeable lack of onboarding, training, and structured support. Expectations were high, but there was little clarity on how performance was measured. Phrases like “not at the level we expect” were used, yet no concrete benchmarks or guidance were provided when asked.
The culture felt unsupportive and, at times, exclusionary. Engagement with senior leadership was limited, and contributions often went unrecognised regardless of effort or results. Despite achieving KPIs, job security still felt uncertain.
There were also concerns around fairness and transparency. Onsite, senior leadership would step in to take over deals, which directly impacted individual performance metrics. Attempts to raise this were not meaningfully addressed.
Internal feedback mechanisms, such as the culture survey, did not feel genuinely anonymous or constructive. Providing honest feedback led to uncomfortable follow-ups, which discouraged openness.
Final discussions regarding my role lacked clarity, and questions around performance and decision-making were left unanswered, including by HR.
