Pros
Good pay and good insurance but that's about it
Cons
I'm Korean but grew up in the States for more than half of my life so I was expected to follow Korean culture while I was in a culture shock.. Good insurance but you don't have time to use your insurance especially if you are Korean. They don't want you to succeed. The HR doesn't want you to succeed even though you are in engineering and there's no overlap. They will go out of their way to make staffs inconvenient. Not so much for Americans, but if you look Korean and can speak Korean, they will give you a hard time about taking PTOs and sick days. 1.5 hrs of lunch break and you must take it. Not flexible at all. Traffic gets worse and worse every day. If you are a local hire, most likely to be laid off as your project gets closer to the end. No promotions either. You are a contract worker. Elders are OK to be rude for some reason. Managers do not get to have a suggestion or an opinion. They want you to work like slaves.
