Pros

Great co-workers. Owners listen to ideas and feedback and have an open-door policy. 1/2 medical insurance is paid. Dental is 100% paid. Fantastic 401K. Owners are very understanding about life outside of work and are helpful when issues arise. Great work/life balance.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons at this time.

Pros

So far work / life balance appear to be on point. I find that working conditions are better than some but no worse that past employment. I also find that being aware of the rules in the Employee Handbook saves a lot of headaches. I find management deals with each employee as fairly as the employee deals with management. Yeah, there are some hiccups but I have found speaking with management to clear the air helps a whole lot instead of them or myself being a mind reader. I feel if you don't go in with a specific mind set and you listen and pay attention gets you farther than assuming you already know the outcome. People treat you how you treat them.

Cons

To date no cons to speak about. As stated in Pros - people treat you how you treat them.

Pros

I worked at HyperGen for almost 5 years. I loved the family atmosphere. I also appreciate the fact that I came in with very little experience and they gave me the opportunity. I wasnt going to post until I saw people making negative comments. The fact is they are angry because they got fired. Its a consulting firm so you are working for clients who are demanding and HyperGen demands that you meet , no exceed, the customers expectations. Otherwise they wouldnt have been in business for over 20 years. It funny how the sour grapes who got squeezed are whining. I recommended my friends and will still and always recommend HyperGen as a great place to work and grow. You will learn more working there in a year than you will in some big lazy government job in 5. I know this cause I now work in one of those big lazy government jobs. I would still be at HyperGen but I wanted to try living in the big City. Maybe its time to go back.

Cons

If you are not customer oriented. If you dont have a strong work ethic. If you can not handle high demands of excellence. Then dont apply. Working for a consulting firm that demands excellence isnt for everyone. Try your hand at one of those lazy government jobs.
