Pros
Has pretty good facilities (cafeteria, gym, etc). Really easy interview, making this a great paycheck generator while looking for a job.
Cons
Way below standards in pay, even for Ohio which is already fairly low. Despite the great facilities, management doesn't trust you. Made me clock in and out to eat or go to the gym (though to be fair, I think the employees are all salary now). PTO is garbage and you're forced to use it for sick time. Work is largely boring for newer engineers. Due to the high turnover of this company, they ensure they have ample busywork without many opportunities to do more meaningful projects. Hyland's entire hiring strategy is to pull new grads without experience to ensure they don't realize how underpaid they are. On top of that, they have shown the willingness to save money by laying off engineers in favor of outsourcing talent to (somehow) even cheaper, worse engineers overseas.
