Pros

I love the people who work on the floor at Hyvee, it's always a positive work environment.

Cons

I don't love management/corporate aspect. Their whole thing is that Hyvee is "employee owned," but that means little to nothing. Asking for a raise is like trying to pull teeth, even when I have shown I am a reliable and hard-working employee.

Cons

As a 24/7 retail business, scheduling can be demanding in some roles — though the variety of positions means there's flexibility to find the right fit. With a large, decentralized workforce spread across hundreds of locations, consistent employee communication is an ongoing area of focus and improvement.
