Pros

Learning from my mistake of taking a job at this company... Met some new friends...

Cons

As a former employee of about 1.5 years, I completely agree with all of the negative reviews of this Company. The CEO does not know how to lead, and some of the things he has done really surprised me but I will keep this short and sweet. After getting to know the CEO and his shady practices, I can without a doubt say that most, if not all, of the positive reviews on this website for this company are written by the CEO or an employee who he instructed to write a review... I LOL'ed when I read them knowing it was him...

Hi! Thank you for writing this review of Huntex. Fortunately for us, 100% of the reviews on GlassDoor, positive or negative, are legitimate and come from current and former employees such as yourself. Many of the employees that have written these reviews are still with the company, several have been with us for more than 4 years. It would seem that they have not come to the same conclusion that you did about ethics. It also surprises me that it would have taken you 1.5 years of your time with us to conclude that the CEO is unethical. Our CEO is very protective of his employees and has been very successful in garnering loyalty with them. This loyalty is not possible in such an unethical environment as you paint. If you had worked here for 1.5 years, I’m sure you would have noticed that. For future companies, it would be best if you determined whether they were unethical well before 1.5 years. Good luck with your future endeavors and thanks again!

Pros

The company gives you all of the tools, training, and knowledge and resources to do what needs to be done. Nobody there hoards knowledge. Everyone that is in a position to teach will gladly spend as much time with you as they can so that you're bettering your skills. The company treats adults like adults - there are no ridiculous or strict policies that stifle any ability to be yourself. It's growing a lot - they've more than doubled in the last year, and are on track to do that two more times this year. You can aim as high as you want in this company. Want to lead a team? Let's do it. Want to have your own office eventually? Let's make it happen.

Cons

Like any sales company, there are people that are inside the company from time to time that truly don't understand sales and how hard they have to work to get what they want. They spread negativity but they never end up lasting long because everyone that does understand the importance of hard work for themselves eventually just stops listening to that person. More brand management is needed going forward as the company increases in size. A comprehensive benefits package will help retain some employees moving forward.

Pros

Our boss has our back and it's an open door structure. People are free to decide if they want to work a 360 desk, or do headhunting, business development or account management. As far as pay structure goes, you work, you produce and you get paid. Your efforts pay off. This is not a place for slackers that want to come in, sit at a desk and expect to get paid just for showing up and making pretend they are working. Lots of opportunities here. No one has to fight for roles or clients. Other agencies pit recruiters against each other but it does not happen here. No one steals your candidates and no one steals your accounts. Unfortunately, the negative reviews come form people that have either left or had to be let go because they could not cut it in this business.

Cons

This is a business for self starters and very determined people and it's not for everyone. If you think you should get paid just for walking in the door then it's not for you.
