Pros

The Human Solution is an all-around awesome place to work. The environment is pretty laid back. The dress code is casual, and we all have height-adjustable treadmill desks and community bikes for the office to use to get around at lunch. The kitchen is stocked with healthy snacks and we have some fun teambuilding events. The whole company recently went to Cancun and we are about to go to San Francisco this summer. Everyone gets along really well - this is a place where you'll actually want to hang out with your coworkers outside of work. There's no commission on the sales side of things, so it's not a cutthroat environment. (There are, however, quarterly performance-based bonuses available after you've been here for six months.) Management and coworkers are great; everyone works together to be sure that everything runs smoothly. It's understood that mistakes will happen from time to time, and as long as you learn from them you'll be fine. I appreciate that we focus on customer support and being sure that we're doing the right thing for our customers to keep them happy. As in any customer service related field, you'll have unhappy people from time to time, but that's pretty uncommon and we'll always work with people to make them happy.

Cons

I don't have any cons to add.

Pros

I have worked here over 2 years and have moved up twice already. Hard work pays off. My managers have all been good. Owners have been nice and helped me out twice when I needed it. No questions asked.

Cons

There isn't any down time. We probably need to hire more people. Always have too much to do.

Pros

I learned a lot on the technical side of things from my direct manager. There was a good sense of humor in the office and people were, for the most part, supportive of one another. The content team seems to be on an upward journey. Very good group of people, if you stay long enough you're basically family. There is a lot of potential here, I just hope they use it.

Cons

There is a lot of gossip, unprofessionalism, inappropriate jokes, chatrooms made to complain about co-workers or managers, and the current location is only cleaned once a week (they are going to a new location in 2019, hopefully it'll be cleaned properly with the amount of employees there are). Management tries to be your friend, which in most cases ends up making them look like liars because there is a lot of talk and little action. The employees in content are over-worked, especially management which in turn gives everything a sense of urgency and anxiety. There is a well-known fear of the CEO, he may know your name but people talk about the couple of times he has fired people over disagreements. Leadership has a tendency to drop random projects they thought up over the weekend on the content team when their plates are already completely full, they are expected to add new projects and keep the same timelines for everything else.
