Pros
All analysts are right out of college so at least the environment is young. You learn SPSS and excel within a few months.
Cons
Since management all started out as analysts and returning to grad school is not encouraged, all the bad management techniques got passed down throughout the years to the current management. Project timelines not managed well which means really long hours for analysts for weeks at a time. Also since there is such high turnover, projects are understaffed and you can be thrown on different projects at last minute with little clue as to what is going on. Strict rules make analysts feel like children: cell phones must be kept in cars, having to buy kitchen groceries, clean whiteboards, and having the time you entered the office written down everyday. Mangers have to tell you you can leave and don't let you know what time that will be so it makes having a life after work pretty challenging. The work is also extremely repetitive with each quarterly update. Very little is done to improve company culture since CEO sets the negative tone of the company.
