Staff/Managers are great, owners not so much - Front Desk Hub Climbing Employee Review

Pros

Managers, supervisors, staff are great to work with. Scheduling is done well as they almost never under-staff a shift. If an employee has problems, they can talk to managers without fear of being reprimanded.

Cons

Minimum wage. Owners seem to refuse to invest money into Markham location anymore(infrastructure, renovations, staff room). For example, a/c cannot handle the building and will ice over, then shut down anytime it is 24ºC and above. This along with the lack of proper ventilation means the environment smells like hot humid feet until weather temperatures drop low enough. True staff room does not exist. It is a boiler room that got furnished into a pseudo office/staff room. Managers do not even have their own private office (thus do not have the option to talk to individual staff privately). Communication problems everywhere (between staff, and towards customers). For example, website is updated so infrequently, pricing/option changes from 12+ months ago have yet to be updated. As some staff call it, Markham location makes the money but it gets invested 90% into Mississauga location.
