Cons
- Very bad reward, expect to be mentally imbalanced when you see permanent staff take huge bonus but you earn nothing with same working load or even heavier load- (Huawei Singapore recruit engineer in Contract basic) - Very political working environment (官僚环境） - You boss have super power that he can rate you but you can never rate you - Technically, he has super power over you. (For example- he can give you bad performance rating if he does not like you even you had contribute remarkable achievement. - No career progression - just expect to stay as an contract engineer for many years. (probably after ten years you got chance to convert to permanent staff). Of course, the line manager will try his best to make you go after you service for two to three years to ensure his position stability. - The so called great reward rumours of Huawei only applicable to those who worked in HQ.
