      Pros

      It’s a small company where employees are more like family.

      Cons

      Unfortunately there is a dark cloud that hangs over Hover Davis. This dark cloud is very consuming and drains the employees of all trust and respect for upper management. Not all management – just the management that is housed at the corporate headquarters in Conklin, NY. This dark cloud tries to appear that it cares. It’s says what you want to hear. It gives you hope and it makes promises that it doesn’t keep. It sits behind a desk looking at numbers with no clue that it’s draining the biggest asset of the company – the employees.

      A great team to work with. CAD based design work. GD&T, tolerancing, SAP ECRs.

      Pros

      The employees who still work here are hard working and easy to get along with. They go the extra mile because of their work ethic. Clean environment and management is faily good about giving requested time off. Workers are multi-skilled and change jobs as needed.

      Cons

      No raises, no bonuses, no appreciation is shown to hourly employees. Own by Universal Instruments, this company does very skilled work at very low wages. Hires rarely, takes advantage of temporary workers and most haven't seen any kind of raise in almost 10 years! All of this while having periodic meetings telling us how well we are doing. Very unhappy workers. They deserve much ch more. No advancement opportunities. Management knows workers are doing their best, but pushes them constantly.
