Pros

Good pay, good benefits overall. Very progressive pharmacy culture in the hospital.

Cons

Super toxic pharmacy department. No work life balance and it is impossible to truly feel disconnected from work or take time off. They offer comp days for working weekends but it's impossible to take the time off because staffing is always an issue. Clin specs also are expected to work evening shift. Very little support from management regarding these issues.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for recognizing the strengths of our total rewards and pharmacy practice. We’re concerned to hear about your experience with work‑life balance, staffing and management support. These are important issues and meaningful improvement depends on open, two‑way communication. We strongly encourage team members to raise concerns directly with leadership or HR, so they can be addressed in real time. While operational demands can vary by role and shift, internal feedback is essential to creating a supportive environment for our teams and the patients we serve.

Pros

Great organization to grow professionally in healthcare operations. Strong focus on patient care, quality, innovation, and leadership development. I’ve gained valuable experience in physician support, operations, workflow improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while working with talented teams and leaders.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations and increasing responsibilities. At times, leadership roles can feel under-titled compared to the level of operational work being performed. Work-life balance can also be challenging during staffing shortages, major initiatives, or clinic transitions.
