Pros
The benefits were great, fully covered health insurance, unlimited vacation, flexible work from home with decent pay which kept me there longer than I should have stayed.
Cons
Poor Leadership.. There is a great lack in direction, the team is not working toward a clear common goal, because of a huge lack of good planning and communication from upper management. Lots of burnt out colleagues met the day I walked in the door. Lots of red flags; Stock options but no reporting on financials, very difficult to find out where company stands. Shady business. Lot’s of talk about being “family” to play on vulnerability and guilt to push results. Constant “restructuring” people getting fired and hired seemingly on the 2 CEO’s whims with no real thought around voids. Remaining employees pick up all the slack piling on work. Constant movement of the goal post so the teams never know what direction we should be facing. Unrealistic expectations for dev team. Lots of smoke and mirrors for clients in the meantime. Lack of direction for marketing mostly because the offering is constantly changing. No support for sales staff and often understaffed with 1 or 2 people doing everything. Then being blamed for lack of sales. Lawsuits threats against past employees. I have never worked at a place more toxic. Stay far far away!
