Pros
Benefits, 401K, laid back work atmosphere, socially responsible about Covid since we've been working remotely throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and will continue to do so
Cons
Hotelbeds underwent a company-wide restructure after many layoffs in 2020 during the pandemic. It has been a complete and total disaster. Many employees have had their job duties and responsibilities changed all without proper notice or any new employment offers - meaning they just had to accept it without any negotiation of their pay based on their new role and previous compensation. That's taking advantage of people having to live through Covid, because they know how difficult it is to find new employment right now so you are stuck with whatever they decide to do. People in sales that had commission had to accept roles in customer service or other departments and lose over half their pay for months with no end in sight. The company knows this and HR simply does not care. You ask for any help and they'll refer you to your manager or direct supervisor. And of course, management cares even less. Classic. In addition, their IT department is beyond terrible. The amount of issues that hotels have with Hotelbeds' reservations is staggering. This happens all the time and then management turns around and asks agents for their help to cover their mistakes.
