Pros
Having worked for Hospitality Designs for about 2 years I can say that the management team and the company as a whole are making efforts to improve the culture, processes, training, and overall satisfaction of its clients and team members.
While they aren't where they want to be yet I know they're working on it since we get regular updates on the progress of the new CRM, the new plant equipment, the SOPs being rolled out, and the culture survey's which come out quarterly.
There are some very committed people in multiple teams who are pushing hard to make things better.
With fun events bi-monthly and the Summer and Christmas parties every year there are perks to working here.
Community give back events where the team makes sandwiches and packs food to hand out in downtown Vancouver are great to participate in, plus it's nice to work for a company that cares about it's community.
The team has grown a lot in the last year and added many new team members, so there's proven growth which offers the job security that's important to me.
Cons
It sometimes feels like we're not getting places fast enough - we know things are being worked (like a new CRM) but we'd like to get there more quickly.
Issues with accountability when errors are made can be frustrating.
Some co-workers can be challenging but that's standard in every office i think with different personalities in one place.
