Pros

Most of my co-workers were wonderful, and the atmosphere was fun

Cons

I was told I wouldn't have to worry about being let go from the company (due to COVID), because I was an asset to the hospital. I was let go shortly thereafter. They started to hire more people after a bunch of us were laid off, and none of us got callbacks. I was told by my fomer-co-workers this company let go of all the caring, hard-working employees, and kept the rude, lazy ones on. When I applied for a higher position prior to COVID, I was asked what I had in mind for a salary. I told them $14-15/hr. I was told I couldn't receive that, because I would need to work there for 10-15 years in order to make as much as an ALDI cashier. No thank you. I found a better job, so there's no loss there, but I was deeply hurt about being laid off when I was told I wouldn't be, and I never got called back when they needed help.

Pros

Best work environment I've seen in healthcare. Everyone is friendly and works together. They also have a fantastic residency program for new grads.

Cons

As every place, they expect too much from staff and you may not feel supported by management. However I will say that my opinion is colored by me working night shift.

Pros

Clinical staff were great, lots of skills to be gained, building is clean and spacious, in and outdoor seating for lunch, cheap insurance compared to other local healthcare organizations

Cons

30 minute lunch, only one microwave and two lunch shifts for entire office, have to use your PTO when they are closed for holidays and in my opinion you do not get much time the first 5 years, the office manager at that time (no longer there) was difficult to be around, same responsibilities and workload as LPN and RN with much less pay of course
