Pros

Pretty good job, pay & benefits

Cons

Management has lost site of the mission as it pertains to employees. Management does not listen, they communicate poorly, they are frequently dishonest and treat employees like a number. They do not value or respect years of loyalty & service.

Thank you for your candid review. HSHS does do annual market reviews to ensure that our compensation is on par with market. We are sorry to hear of your experience with management. It is very important to us that all colleagues, management included, carry on the rich tradition and mission that the Sisters instill in all of us. We hope that you had the opportunity to identify any specific issues during your exit interview so that any issues could be promptly addressed.

Pros

Best work environment I've seen in healthcare. Everyone is friendly and works together. They also have a fantastic residency program for new grads.

Cons

As every place, they expect too much from staff and you may not feel supported by management. However I will say that my opinion is colored by me working night shift.

Pros

Clinical staff were great, lots of skills to be gained, building is clean and spacious, in and outdoor seating for lunch, cheap insurance compared to other local healthcare organizations

Cons

30 minute lunch, only one microwave and two lunch shifts for entire office, have to use your PTO when they are closed for holidays and in my opinion you do not get much time the first 5 years, the office manager at that time (no longer there) was difficult to be around, same responsibilities and workload as LPN and RN with much less pay of course
