Pros
My coworkers on the floor are amazing. They all work very hard.
Cons
The base pay is better than other part-time jobs, but I've found that I have to work far more than I originally expected in order to make ends meet. My coworkers and I are sick all the time. It's a fully closed building (no windows), so there's very little airflow. There's always a cold going around. Or the flu, or Covid. It's a mess and causes a lot of call-outs. Management has yet to make any changes. Standing in one spot for 5-7 hours can be hard, and management won't get us stools. There are NO shift meals. Shifts range from very slow on weekdays to high-volume on weekends. Be prepared to talk a lot. I would describe this job as similar to a theme park operator or a babysitter. We also have to wear earpiece/radio sets that don't work well. One of the co-owners, Nicole, has said some transphobic things and makes many of us working there feel uncomfortable.
