Great management, great BCBAs, great group of therapists. Varied case loads, understanding, kind, and compassionate.

Cons

Sometimes being an RBT is a tough job.

Pros

-Highest paying ABA “Clinic” in Kokomo. -Weekly Pay. -Awesome employees. -Only M-F. -Easy place to get hired. -Can take a year + to achieve RBT certificate. -Laid back BcBa’s.

Cons

So many. -Small “clinic” (it’s really just two rooms). -Feels more like baby sitting rather than real intense Aba therapy. -Absolutely zero benefits no 401k, PTO, maternity leave, holiday pay, bonuses, you name it, they don’t have it. -Owner talks about EVERYONE. Definitely not discriminatory. -Can’t offer full time hours. -Schedule changes WEEKLY it’s not set at all. -You can live in Kokomo and be expected to drive to Logansport DAILY. -Owner has zero communication skills and will have other staff or higher up tell you things she doesn’t want to say for herself. -Owner is “friends” with all the higher up positions so you really have nobody professional to speak with about issues. -Owner expects you to do everything she requests and if you don’t (although given the option) it will be held against you later. -Overtime is not offered. -Small amount of clients so expect to be “burnt out” on a client quickly. -No scheduled breaks. Not even for lunch. Have fun eating with your clients. -No crisis prevention training of any sort. If you have an aggressive client be prepared to “roll with the punches” -literally. - No behavior plans. -No VI, VR, etc. schedules. -Owner is extremely unhelpful with therapy but believes she knows it all. - Owner will come to “observe” when in reality, it’s her time to chit chat and bug everyone and then claim you were not working. -Inadequate source of supplies such as reinforcers, space, no computers, no printer, laminator, etc. -Office bathroom, hallway, and kitchen is shared with another company. -Clients are absolutely 100% more important than employees. -Expect to be a taxi driver, the owner does not require children to be picked up or dropped off at the “clinic”; because gas is free, you know. - Required to take weekly videos of therapy to send to BcBa since they are not located in Indiana. -Owner will contact you outside of work hours. -There’s never constant support of a BcBa. -Although, the “home” office is in Kokomo, majority of clients are located in Logansport. So, unless you want to drive, I would not apply -Honestly, just don’t even apply you don’t get paid enough to deal with the amount of b.s you will experience. Go to an actual Aba clinic you’ll learn more, be offered benefits and get REAL experience.
