Pros

Snacks and catered lunch (though, you can find this at most companies nowadays- so it’s hardly a pro) The mission seems altruistic on paper.

Cons

Employees are undervalued and there is rampant favoritism. Management is elitist and belittles their team. Management does not listen to its employees’ concerns. Health benefits and PTO policy became increasingly worse, employees were guilt tripped for taking time off- despite working far over 40 hours a week. Salary is incredibly low for the work that is expected of employees. Certain teams receive most recognition, there are very clear favorites. In my almost 2 years at Honor, I never received a raise or a bonus. (No performance reviews) The culture is toxic, employees are burnt out. You are expected to work through your lunch, they may not explicitly say to not take a break, but it is frowned upon if you actually leave your desk for lunch. (This is different for the technical/eng teams) Turnover is extremely high due to all of the above.

Honor Response

Honor is defined by its employees and we are only able to accomplish our mission with the passion and contributions of our team. I'm saddened by your experience with us and I can understand that your feedback may represent a period of time where some teams were going through some changes. We've definitely made some big improvements in rolling out formal performance reviews and company survey/feedback tools to help elicit as much employee feedback/sentiment as possible on an ongoing basis. We've focused much more attention on addressing cross-team culture and collaboration , and folks have appreciated a more structured way of recognizing and celebrating their fellow teammates. The culture and happiness of the team is the highest priority since our team is what makes Honor the best it can be. We encourage all employees to give us as much internal feedback as possible so that we can constantly adapt!

Pros

Coworkers are great because you're going through the same thing together. With that being said, proceed to the cons

Cons

Where do I start? - Poor Management - Poor Leadership - Poor Operations - No room for growth - Extremely small pay - No overtime pay but expected to work 14 hour days - Zero work life balance - Can't go to your Manager with a concern without being placed on a PIP because they're ready to fire anyone for no reason - Turning Homecare into Amazon - Can care less about the Caregivers. PAY THEM MORE!!!! They claim to but they can really care less about them - To put the cherry on top, they like to approved requested time off and then reverse it after being approved and tell you that you can't go on your approved time off because you need to work holidays.
