Pros
Compensation, remote work environment, kind colleagues.
Cons
Nepotism, micromanagement, siloed work environment, no proper communication (the company is basically run over slack, with no one willing to truly engage on initiatives). Many ideas and “processes” but nothing gets accomplished. Middle leaders and executive leadership is extremely inexperienced in people management and executing. The lack of real company information available to employees is incredible, and the lack of credible information being relayed is laughable. Many projects are started, put on hold or left to wither, or a massive amount of time and energy is spent only to be paused or stopped. Too many cooks in the kitchen on most priorities, and too many people playing executive, the amount of corporate speak and buzz words in every meeting is incredible and draining. Your mental health will suffer, along with your work life balance and ability to feeling like things are being accomplished (especially if you care and are putting in maximum effort). Unwillingness to change or listen to people with great experience, and REAL ideas who CAN execute and get things done. Dishonesty and a complete lack of trust and credibility felt by most employees.
