Pros
Good people work there. Management is clueless They have about 10 mangers for 60 people. To many chiefs, not enough Indians kinda thing. Don't believe all the positive reviews. I was I.T. Although I was not management, I would sit in on the management meeting. They ask the new sales people to write a review. Of course they are not going to say this place sucks if their manger asks them to write a review. So take the positive reviews with a grain of salt. Being a cold call sales person is not an easy. They has a very high turn over. The worst I've seen in any company. On average, about 10 people quit a month, and they hire about the same .. Some of the sales people make good money, most don't. If you're going to work the I.T. side? Its not a normal I.T. job. They will ask you to do a lot of unrelated tasks such as cleaning refrigerators, building cubicles, putting together chairs, and desks. Painting walls, hanging and framing pictures. Putting together trophy cabinets. Foosball tables. Basket ball hoops. I swear, I'm not making this up....lol!If they order something that's not put together, you guessed it, The I.T. department is putting it together. It can be very frustrating. Have been in the I.T. field for 20 years, I have never seen a company treat their I.T. department like that especially when they have a half dozen managers just standing around doing nothing all day. If you're looking for a temp job to make the ends meet? Its do able. A career? Not so much. Worked there for a year and a half, no raise. Only pays about $21.00 an hour. The only true benefit for working for Homes? There is some nice people that work there. But I would not recommend this job. There's better ones out there.....
Cons
Dead end job No advancement.
