Pros
Great team, always looking to promote from within, countless initiatives and policies in place to promote learning and growth, fast paced environment with something new everyday, freedom for supervisors to work in grey areas and bend rules to better help customers in niche circumstances
Cons
Depending on your store and management team the handling of TJX's return policy can often be a nightmare for the frontline staff. Customer Service Coordinators (and often times cashiers as well) are often under attack for the inconsistent rulings on when a return is or isn't acceptable. The company's grey area ruling metric often leads to drastic return differences from region to region let alone manager to manager. Coordinators are often treated as assistant managers in their expected workload and expectations behind the scenes but paid as supervisors. This gap in expectation is much more noticeable here than at other retailers. I understand they use an off-price model, but 10% discount is laughably low
