Pros

Healthcare benefits, office in Santa Monica, dog friendly, one day a week lunch provided, you can work from home (but it will be looked down upon).

Cons

They don't promote internally, they have committed wrongful termination with almost every employee they've parted ways with, they have a high turnover rate due to lack of morale in the company and undervaluing their employees. It's a bro party with a bunch of kids that don't know how to run a company. Women are extremely disrespected and their opinions/contributions are seen but not heard. The company culture has fallen to pieces and there is a lot of behind the scenes animosity towards executive level individuals. I would not advise anyone to work here, not only because of how badly they treat their staff but because they are failing as a company. They have had zero growth over the past 4 months and it's mainly due to them demotivating and not appreciating their staff and the hard work they put in. They promise employees raises and promotions and don't fulfill these promises. They also offered employees equity and have yet to come through on that promise. If you create an environment that is hostile, passive and disrespectful you can't expect your employees to be your biggest cheerleaders when they themselves feel unappreciated. Be warned!

Pros

HomeHero constantly challenges its employees to better themselves, both personally and professionally. The company evolves quickly, as do all startups, and the key to professional success at HomeHero is adaptability. Transparency is crucial at HomeHero, and the cofounders are open to all forms of conversation regarding any matter, especially those changes noted above. Benefits are killer, location is beautiful; most importantly, the team is excited to work every day. The work we do is impactful, and we work in a space that is teeming with innovation at all fronts.

Cons

Constant change can leave employees confused about the company's vision. With a series of changes, whether expected or unexpected, employees are left to deal with the fallout. HomeHero strives to be transparent as a company, and these changes are usually explained thoroughly, but the change still takes time to be adjusted to.
