People are friendly - colleagues are probably the best aspect of the role Some senior managers are very supportive Potential for doing some really great work Great work life balance- management proactively encourage healthy working practices

Inexperienced staff promoted to roles that they aren't prepared for Lack of direction A lot of busywork, without real projects to work on Lack of funding leading to projects being scrapped or ending up being ineffective Poor pay, as expected for gov roles
