Pros

Colleagues are good and should have more

Cons

They take away all PR, take away head UK, take away UK team boss and try to blame staff. This is your BAD idea, maybe you think we are stupid?

Hi, We appreciate that everyone reacts differently to the structural changes described here. Our aim has always been to ensure a robust support system and clear direction for all employees. It's important to acknowledge that our internal feedback channels indicate employees are satisfied with the improved operational clarity following this decision. Our previous PR department did a tremendous job, and were highly skilled, valued members of the team. Unfortunately it became clear that PR simply isn't the best fit for our business model. The recent changes have also allowed us to promote many individuals internally, giving them opportunities to step into leadership roles and contribute fresh ideas while we focus on our fundamentals. We are committed to continuous improvement and encourage open dialogue. If you are an active employee and have further thoughts or would like to share more about your experience, we invite you to reach out directly to your line manager, our employee advocacy body the "First Mate Committee", or our HR team. Your input is invaluable as we work together to make our workplace even stronger. The HolidayPirates Team

First of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to formulate this review and share your opinion with us. We are committed to create a comfortable, transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees around the world, so I am sorry to hear about some of your experiences and that these did not match our intention of being „a great place to work". We value and consider every feedback and we will continue to find ways to improve. We have grown immensely, but never thoughtless, over the last 3 years. From 6 people working from a shared office space in Berlin to 172 people from 36 different nationalities, sitting in our offices spread all over the world we have all worked very hard to create a fun, dynamic and caring company where people are valued and feel empowered to succeed and grow. It worked very well for our locations in Europe so far, so we are definitely willing to implement and achieve that in the States: an awesome working atmosphere, a fast growing company in which you can take the helm and realize your ideas, inspiring mates from all over the world and the possibility for further personal and also professional development. Throughout all our locations, whether it’s in our headquarter in Berlin, our office in Lyon, the upcoming offices in London and Spain or our tech reinforcement sitting in our office in Belgrade, we are continuously looking for ways to enhance employee benefits among other improvements we would like to make as well in order to successfully keep sailing on these waters. We genuinely care about our company and our great teams, so having all that said, I, again, would like to thank you very much for your feedback, it helps us make the HolidayPirates Group an even better place, then it already is. And we furthermore would like to also thank you, for being one of the first pirates aboard while entering the US market and having the opportunity to share this very cool office with Kayak. All the best for you and your future career, Janina and the HolidayPirates
