Pros

Opportunities to earn great commissions. Great detailed training

Cons

Marketing department is horrible. There are 3 managers, and they don't work in sync with one another. A manager may ask you to do something, however if it was not company policy don't expect the manager to take any responsibility. They are only concerned about their monthly goals. They don't care about their employees, although they will tell you otherwise. They talk behind your back to your Co workers. I love the brand but the managers of marketing team are a liability. Why, they will do anything to make your life miserable and create an intolerable environment. For example one of my managers would tell me weekly that my my co-workers and employees of the hotel don't like me. I would ask who she was referring to and of course she would never reveal names. I then stated that if I don't know why people don't like me, than I'm unable to change.

Pros

You get exposure to different sales styles, personalities, and ways of handling guests. Some coworkers and leaders were genuinely supportive and wanted to see people improve. It can be a good place to build and learn how to think on your feet. The earning potential is there for the right person and the team environment itself can be fun and energetic at times.

Cons

Training and coaching experiences can vary depending on leadership style. Success often depends not only on effort, but also on access to mentorship, tour volume, and real-time guidance. Communication and expectations between departments did not always feel fully aligned, which at times created confusion around development and performance goals. During slower seasons, limited tour flow can also make it difficult for newer representatives to build consistency and momentum.
