Pros
Some people are genuine, others pretend.
Cons
Very small firm, disorganized, micromanaged, lack of training, big egos, title changes, childish tantrums, poor work-life balance, obvious favorites, rotating door.

We are very sorry to hear this about your experience at the firm, and we are following up to encourage an open dialogue. We take the feedback of all current and former employees very seriously and truly value their constructive input. It is easy to hide behind a computer and make anonymous posts that are more “venting” than “constructive”. It takes true courage to step into the light and have difficult but necessary constructive conversations. We invite you to reach out with your name and contact information if you truly want to have that conversation and make a difference. If we don’t hear from you, we will assume your intent was simply to be another anonymous internet troll venting on the internet.
Challenging and interesting work with a supportive environment. All employees are very supportive of each other, regardless of their role. Hybrid remote is a huge plus. Job is exactly as advertised and described in interviews.
True Open Door Policy - You are able to make suggestions or ask questions about things.
It's nice to be "on the same team." - Everyone has been very kind and helpful in assisting with my training. From the C-suite to attorneys to paralegals and legal assistants.
Feels like a very understanding and inclusive place, definitely relaxed in terms of a legal office.
The job that was advertised, that I was told about and offered, is actually the job I am doing.
Lastly, there is definitely a vibe/push/initiative to build a strong culture and team camaraderie -- I've only been here a few months, and I see it.
Cons
Remote options are limited, but available.
Paid time off is less than I've had at other places, but still reasonable.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this.
It means a lot to hear that your experience so far reflects what we’re working hard to build at Holden Litigation — especially around accessibility, teamwork, and making sure people feel supported from day one. We’re intentional about keeping communication open across all levels of the firm, so it’s great to hear that’s been your experience.
We also hear your feedback on remote flexibility and PTO. Those are always areas we continue to evaluate as we grow and try to balance both firm needs and team member well-being. Input like this is helpful as we think through how to evolve those policies thoughtfully.
Most importantly, we’re glad the role you were hired for is the role you’re actually doing — that alignment matters a lot to us. Excited to keep building with you and appreciate you being part of the team.
