Pros
You work with varying tissue. More paid holidays than most companies.
Cons
1) The technicians get paid below value. They use the premise of not being licensed, however they do not push for their technicians to pursue their licensing. 2) the is no cross training. 3) if you show managerial qualities, they will try to use your skills and keep you at your current position. There is not true title change or raise in pay. 4) their training protocols are horrible. You will need to be research on your own and adapt quickly. Considering they hire mostly unlicensed techs, it is surprising how little training they give. 5) Gossip is worse than high schoolers. It comes from upper management and trickles down. 6) No one take accountability for their actions, mistakes, or the fallout. This is from the head (lab director and COO) down to the assistants. It's always a blame game and only certain individuals are given grace or out right leniency (undeserved). 7) Upper management will blatantly lie to you and string you along if you let them. 8) The pay grade is ridiculously low for how specialized their specimens are.
