Pros
The people are really nice
Cons
If you are looking for a health coaching job, RUN. This is sold as being able to deliver “top of license coaching” and that should have been my first red flag. There is SO much internal marketing to the coaching org to try to convince us we’re doing meaningful work. Realistically, we’re being turned into a copy/paste factory while we try to respond to 200+ tasks with ridiculous timelines all day. Metrics have not adjusted to accommodate the increase in workload due to layoffs. Pay is DISGUSTINGLY low, hours are not predictable, and now they’re expanding our role to include “lifestyle” topics that most are not qualified to coach on. The backend platforms are constantly getting enhancements that just slow us down. Meanwhile they’re also trying to introduce AI messaging to “help” us (aka cut more staff). They say the coaching piece is part of what sets us apart, yet they treat coaches like glorified customer service reps. The work is mind-numbingly boring. Coaches are all “flex” meaning we do an insane amount of work and don’t get any real benefits. I regret accepting this role.
