Pros

-Great mission and product to get behind. Hinge Health helps so many people and is loved by customers. It's fun and inspiring to work on that! -People are generally great - smart, interesting & motivated while also supportive and low ego -Hybrid work set-up for most. SF office is great with good food options. Current policy is 3 days required in office and 2 WFH -Interesting work - generally company is very innovative across departments and open to new opportunities and ideas surfaced by teams

Cons

No company is perfect. But overall pros far outweigh any cons for me. -Compared to smaller start-ups, Hinge Health is rather large and now a public company. With this comes some processes and dynamics that can be a bit more bureaucratic and formal. Sometimes there can be red tape to doing things that make sense, or lots of political conversations and jockey-ing to get something done. -Hinge Health, like many companies has gone through layoffs and leadership changes over the past couple of years. This is never fun to experience, but for the folks still here, I think tough changes and decisions have helped the company survive and be set-up to do well in the future.

Pros

coworkers, some benefits, not much else

Cons

Low pay, no movement for career growth, AI implementation training disguised as an improvement when you can see the support teams are being asked to train the AI in order for it to replace them, gaslighting from management that everything is fine when customers are extremely unhappy and only the front line workers have to deal with that anger day in and out, as others have reported critical thinking and feedback with genuine process improvements are not ignored, which would be bad, but literally punished. I am only here because I haven't been fired yet and I'm looking for something else in a challenging job market
