Pros

Free training, friendly office staff, and plenty of work available at most times of the year. You can pick long or short shifts as you like, and do as many in a week as you want. You can go off and do exams / travel and start back with no problem or apology needed. The work is in interesting places all over London and you see a different side of life. The other agency staff are usually students and are very nice people.

Cons

The work can be physically tiring, there's lots of standing and sometimes walking long distances in the very big venues: good levels of fitness and stamina helps a lot. Only some of the jobs have opportunities for tips.

Pros

Flexibility and the people you meet

Cons

Sometimes the venues are well outside of London and you aren't paid for these hours
