Pros

The best and only reason to work at Hibu would be to get Salesforce training experience for you next job.

Cons

Micromanaging is the culture of Hibu. IMO, Hibu has transformed itself into a "telemarketing boiler room" operation with daily Zoom Meetings allowing the Company to monitor it's sales reps. activities almost on an hourly basis. It is difficult to build co-worker relationships as the employee turnover, at least in my team, was horrendous to say the least. Management is out of touch with it's sales reps., and my immediate Manager lacked all the professional leadership attributes to manage a successful sales team. It is a very negative environment to work in. IMO, sales quotes are unattainable and as a result, incomes on the whole are dropping like a rock thrown off a cliff. Most of the focus in Hibu sales approach is selling new clients and neglecting existing clients which leads to account turnover. IMO, it is the wrong approach to seek new clients versus taking care of serving existing clients and then added new clients only after existing clients are satisfied. I worked for Hibu for many years and loved every minute of them except for the last 2-3 years where Hibu changed from a positive environment to a dictatorship climate resulting in massive team turnover, at least in my team. Management is negative and for the most part, very unsupportive in helping sales reps. achieve MINIMUM sales quotas. I experienced along with many other sales reps. customers that were not happy with the results from Hibu creating and managing their online digital campaigns. I will not get into the details in this review, but reading other online reviews from unhappy Hibu customers will provide the truth about the issues. The cancellations of accounts, at least in my book of business, and the book of business of other sales reps. in our team was well above unacceptible levels. If you want to learn Salesforce, then that is the best thing, and only thing, that I would recommend anyone joining Hibu for employment. If you are interested in Hibu employment, ask the interviewing Manager how many sales reps. are achieving the MINIMUM SALES QUOTAS, and have them prove it by showing you the complete Sales Reps. performance reports. IMO, this is a 30-35,000 per year job at best for most Sales Reps., unless you want to work 6-7 days a week with little vacation or time off. Without question, working for Hibu is the most negative and disappointing environment I have ever worked in, in my career. IMO, the Hibu Management Team runs the teams and company with a dictatorship approach, "do what I say and not what I do" attitude. Hibu could turn the company around, and reduce the employee turnover, if it would listen to employees instead of listening to themselves. You will see this stated with detailed facts if you go to other review sites online. If you think the negative reviews are exaggerated, then just contact other former or current Hibu sales reps and interview them yourself. In summary, I had many amazing years with Hibu until the Company shifted from an employee valued Company to a "telemarketing boiler room" operations with Management adhering to a dictatorship management style blaming sales reps. for cancellations, sales quotes set so high the majority of the sales teams could not achieve, etc.

Pros

reat place to work! They truly care about their employees and create an environment where people feel supported and valued. The managers are amazing—they encourage you, challenge you, and push you every day to grow and succeed. It’s a team that genuinely wants to see you win.

Cons

I would recommend doing a little more research and qualification before passing leads over to the reps. Some leads are labeled as ‘hot,’ but after speaking with them, they often don’t have the urgency, need, or buying intent expected. A stronger qualification process would help the sales team focus their time on opportunities that are truly ready to move forward.

Pros

autonomy, product is seemingly good

Cons

Overall a terrible sales org, commission structure is nonsense and very low percent of reps are on the high tier, including reps that are top performers being on the mid or low tier commission. You are responsible for prospecting, closing, and account management so job gets harder the longer you are there. Force you into long meetings so the VP can show everyone Christopher Voss masterclass videos that are irrelevant. Sales contests where the reward is literally 5 dollars. Training is completely disconnected from how the job actually is, even down to the tech stack they teach you. Sales planning does nothing and does not provide any new leads or any sales tools that work. They do not even have a list of discovery questions to provide you. No one uses any of their provided tech stack you just have to figure out your own processes with no support. Very low base salary which they will lower if you get put on PIP. Extremely unstructured PIP program with no concrete numbers or explanation for how to get off of PIP. Extreme favoritism at the managerial level.
