Pros
-I work with some really great people. I have no issues or ill feeling toward any of my co-workers. Everyone is professional and nice. No malicious gossip, either. -Work is pretty easy for the most part. -The company is pretty good to work for. They frequently have company picnics, awards ceremonies, and nice luncheons. Departments usually have fun contests where you can win gift cards or time off. They have monthly "Top Performers" where you can win $100 gift cards and 4 hours paid time off.
Cons
-Ask too many questions you will be sneered at by management; "You should know this!" Don't ask questions and try to figure it on your own; "Why didn't you ask us?" followed by a threatening email. Damned if you do, damned if you don't for just about everything. -Being "On Warning" is the rule, not the exception. Almost everyone in my department is on warning for something stupid. -Management likes to nit-pick to FIND something to put you on warning! Nothing they can find? They'll provoke you in some way. If you are on warning you are ineligible for any contests, awards, prizes, Top Performer, extra PTO, or overtime. So the "fun" company functions are really moot point! -They love to tell you what is wrong with you. This includes your personality. Too quiet? You need to be more social! Too social? You need to be quiet and focus on your work! You can't win. Damned if you do, damned if you don't! -Irrelevant products and new products almost every week it seems. Too much to know and keep up with. They will actually make you take weekly quizzes to make sure you are keeping up, too.
