Lovely company to work for - Marketing HiPeople Employee Review

The team is really talented and there’s a lot to learn. It is fast-paced & growing like crazy so if you’re a person that wants to grow your skill set and get exposure to a wider variety of challenges than you would at another company I’d say you would enjoy working here. The tech stack is modern, people ship frequently & there’s very little space for corporate BS like there would be at a larger company. I did not pick up on anything Machiavellian (sorry!). They're also very flexible & trusting with remote work.

There’s still a lot of uncertainty and sometimes you might end up having to deal with stuff that wouldn’t be your responsibility in another company. Occasionally, there are also quite sudden product-direction shifts, but they are generally well thought-through. The team is also male-dominated, but there’s an active push to try and change this.

The people. Everyone is very nice, and it's a pleasure to work with them. No "corporate" niceness, just genuinely nice people. Working and releasing new content/features rapidly is very enjoyable and satisfying. No micromanagement and being able to take responsibility for a wide range of topics/challenges. Remote working is very nice.

Code quality was low when I joined, but there are plans to improve it. No clear path of professional growth at the moment.
