Pros

Not much to add here.

Cons

Selfish management with inflated egos. Quality of life is next to nothing, as weekends and evenings are either filled with an overabundance of projects, or constant outages due to poorly designed and poorly maintained infrastructures. Maintenance doesn't generate additional revenue, but new projects do.

We are sorry you feel this way. Working at a Managed Service Provider can definitely be stressful at times. We rely on our team to provide our customer's with the highest level of support as well as participate in an on call rotation. Unfortunately from time to time, employees come to work expecting a paycheck while not actually performing their assigned tasks or behave arrogantly and belligerently towards management, other employees and customers and we have no choice but to terminate the employer-employee relationship. We wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors.

Pros

The staff are great and friendly, but management is lost in the sauce.

Cons

This workplace is marked by considerable stress from elevated expectations and insufficient staffing. Employees frequently express concerns about understaffing, yet management consistently dismisses these claims as unfounded while asserting that maintaining a low headcount is a deliberate strategy to put more money in the CEO's pockets. Another significant source of stress arises from the on-call duty requirement, which necessitates constant availability. Employees are expected to be reachable at all times 24-7, as issues can emerge unexpectedly, requiring immediate attention and potential escalation. Prompt responses to calls and text messages are essential; any delays may result in further complications. Moreover, management's communication is notably inadequate. There is a persistent lack of clarity regarding expectations and ongoing developments, accompanied by an inability to provide constructive feedback. The employee handbook contains ambiguous policies, and management frequently seeks to circumvent regulations that do not align with their interests. They also micromanage all staff.
