- Glamorous industry to work for -Company does some cool things and it’s a genuinely great business concept. The quality of work is something to be proud to be part of - Team activities - Office and location -Great and supportive team members
Cons
- Owners are bad and unprofessional communicators and promote a toxic working environment by often being grumpy, rude, hostile and condescending - No investment in training - Despite being a wedding company, owners openly say some homophobic things which is uncomfortable to be around -Owners are chronic micro managers, making it difficult to work under them. They also are not good managers. They also give very mixed messaging and are not consistent in their feedback. -No written guidelines/ expectations. Feedback is based on how the owners feel that week and what “vibe” they like - meaning that expectations are so unreasonable and impossible to meet. -Weekend work and with no compensation for it, not even time in lieu. -Owners quite forgetful and disorganised and expect the team to bend and adjust around their schedule. Not really respectful of other peoples time.
