Pros

Great content to work on, decent work/life balance, amazing team, variety of work.

Cons

Leadership at the time insisted I be available 24/7. They lacked trust in my capabilities after a decade working for them, and they micromanaged. This is also not a space to level up in a career, but is certainly a space for learning and trying a few things. You just won't be compensated for adding new responsibilities or skillsets even if you perform them at the job.

Pros

This was one of the most consistent and stable studios in the industry, there were always a lot of interesting and creative challenges, and I think I speak for a lot of us in saying that this will be missed. Perhaps the best thing was the camaraderie and friendship, which created a truly great place to work. The salary was fair, and integrating work and family demands was something that was easy to do because of the flexible schedule.

Cons

Since this is a small company, the recent changes at the top are more keenly felt by everyone. I was really sad when so many of us had to leave. Any time there is a transition it can cause a lot of angst and uncertainty in your life, however, I was really fortunate to become part of the Miss Clue Team. Everything is so energized and I am so happy to be involved in the excitement that surrounds the start of a new venture with an established studio.

Pros

The people were great here. The hours were flexible and there was almost no crunch which gave a rare opportunity in this industry to have a life outside of work. The fans are loyal and every game was exciting to work on. It was refreshing to have a new game out every 6 months and there was a lot of pride in the studio for what we did.

Cons

Unfortunately all of the artists, programmers and the writer have either been laid off or quit after the pink slips came out. Beware of applying here; the job security is lacking. I don't think the damage that's been done is reversible at this point.
