Pros
A design thinking company that occupies a sweet spot between being a well-established grounded company and a start-up (I've worked at both, as well as for myself). Like a start-up, everyone is expected to contribute at a significant level, to help create the company. Like a start up, surrounded by highly-motivated, smart, interesting people. Like a start-up there is constant improvement and innovation, and, yes, this can be intense. But not a "work 80 hours a week". intense. More a work hard/play hard type of way. On the other hand, it is a company that has an established reputation in the home design world, solid footing (CEO not running around raising money, rather driving the mission and focus of the company as both business guy and creative visionary). Love the people I work with. Love the clients. Super interesting industry and where company fits in - a "disruptor".
Cons
Yes, it can be an intense environment (see "work hard/play hard" above). Yes, the constant innovation that is great for clients and creativity, can be tiring sometimes. Yes, it is a real place with real people so isn't perfect.
