Pros

The experience I received with Henry Schein will forever and always make me the better business/sales person I am today. This company has a very "hands-on" business approach for their clients. Most companies have "consultant" in the job title. What is a consultant? An expert. To succeed in this role, you need to be prepared to put in the countless amount of hours it takes to be an expert. Not only do you need to be an expert at dentistry, you need to learn how to run a dental practice better than the dentist himself. Overall, for the amount of experience I recieved, working for this company was one of the best decisions of my life. Granted, I was assuming I was going to make some serious money at this role but was given "challenging" accounts to improve. The experience was far more valuable than the money I earned.

Cons

You office is you car. Be ready to put on some miles. Your assigned territory is VERY large and you will be doing a lot of driving. The company also kills a lot of trees by sending you weekly and monthly paper promotions to hand out to your clients that nobody ever uses. For a company who preaches "going paperless" to doctors, you need to do it yourself too.

Pros

Collaborative environment, great people, and internal growth. The biggest asset here is the people, everyone is approachable and willing to help a peer.

Cons

Like any healthy organization, there can sometimes be fast paced shifts in strategy or priorities, but communication is generally transparent as changes happen.
