Pros
Some of the nicest people you are likely to ever work with. During my time, all my colleagues went out of their way to help me and made me feel inclusive. Excellent training for a new employees and very good continuous training & development if required. Management were kind, extremely approachable and understanding. Clean, tidy offices with lots of parking, free coffee etc. I have worked for a lot of organisations in my time and SOE was a fun and friendly place to work. I will truly miss all of my SOE friends.
Cons
I would have wanted more interaction with the wider business as a whole and sometimes it felt that SOE was viewed as an "add-on" to the Henry Schein machine but this was changing during my last few months there due to the "commercial-noise" SOE were making in the industry. Automation (EasyPost/SMS) was a bit of a sticking point and could have had a very negative effect on commissions. I believe this needs to be taken away from the commercial team's responsibility, so they can concentrate on revenue.
