Pros

Great company message and core values

Cons

The core values and culture are lost through middle management. You are not a human being when you are employed there and they do not care about anything other than consistently hitting targets to appease stock holders. They’ll manipulate scenarios and bend rules if it makes them look good that quarter. If you need something out of the ordinary for a customer, forget it. They are not for their employees or customers like I envisioned. Only Wall Street. Lots of unethical behavior and no one willing to correct it. Customer service and support is not consistent. When there’s an internal error it takes weeks to correct and everything falls on the sales representative. No one internally is accountable or responsive. Your compensation will change frequently so if you are looking for consistent financial growth, go with another company. Every year they will expect a lot more out of you to make what you did the prior year.

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
